AP News Confirms NO Uyghur Genocide in Xinjiang ChinaBrian Berletic | AP’s recent trip to Xinjiang, China has revealed not only zero evidence of “cultural genocide” but has exposed the lies the Western media (including AP) have told international audiences for years about the conditions in Xinjiang and the treatment of the Uyghur people. Depending on the public’s ignorance and providing links AP is confident readers will not click on, explore, and discover the contradictions they present to their narrative, AP attempts to backpedal Western narratives to depict the peace and progress they witnessed in Xinjiang as an facade for “invisible” oppression.

Canada declares genocide in XinjiangCarl Zha | I spoke with Justin Podur to discuss the unanimous declaration by the Canadian parliament (followed by the Netherlands parliament days later) in February 2021 that a genocide is taking place in Xinjiang. What is really behind this declaration, and how can Canadian history, and Chinese history, help us think about the issue?
CNN Accidentally Busts Xinjiang Genocide LiesBrian Berletic | CNN admits it cannot independently verify an alleged former Chinese police officer who claims to have partaken in interrogations involving torture and witnessing sexual abuse in China’s Xinjiang region against its Uyghur population. However, CNN could have easily cross referenced his spoken and written statements from June 7, 2021 as part of the so-called “Uyghur Tribunal” where he completely contradicts the claims he made to CNN.
Worse still, CNN never mentions that the alleged former police officer and others they interviewed took part in the tribunal, or that the tribunal even took place…
Cultural erasure - Tracing the destruction of Uyghur and Islamic spaces in XinjiangThe Chinese Government has embarked on a systematic and intentional campaign to rewrite the cultural heritage of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR). It’s seeking to erode and redefine the culture of the Uyghurs and other Turkic-speaking communities—stripping away any Islamic, transnational or autonomous elements—in order to render those indigenous cultural traditions subservient to the ‘Chinese nation’.

Playing Genocide Politics: The Zenz-Xinjiang CaseIn July 2020, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for “using forced sterilization, forced abortion, and coercive family planning against Uyghurs and other minorities in Xinjiang.”
Stunningly, Pompeo based the charge on just one source: “German researcher Adrian Zenz’s shocking revelations.”

Thoroughly reforming them towards a healthy heart attitude: China`s political re-education campaign in XinjiangSince spring 2017, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China has witnessed the emergence of an unprecedented re-education campaign. According to media and informant reports, untold thousands of Uyghurs and other Muslims have been and are being detained in clandestine political re-education facilities, with major implications for society, local economies and ethnic relations. Considering that the Chinese state is currently denying the very existence of these facilities, this paper investigates publicly available evidence from official sources, including government websites, media reports and other Chinese internet sources. First, it briefly charts the history and present context of political re-education. Second, it looks at the recent evolution of re-education in Xinjiang in the context of ‘de-extremification’ work. Finally, it evaluates detailed empirical evidence pertaining to the present re-education drive. With Xinjiang as the ‘core hub’ of the Belt and Road Initiative, Beijing appears determined to pursue a definitive solution to the Uyghur question.
Claims regarding Xinjiang re-education centres based on media and personal testimony of Uyghur activists.
