This claim suggest that China`s deradicalisation program was secretive, denied, hidden, or misrepresented to western media. This claim suffers from issues of translation; in particular, the connotations that labels used in the west had used (eg "concentration camps"). Initial denials did not specifically indicate that they were denials, not of substance, but of definition or connotation. This created an impression of a secret.
